Team Phoenix was established on July 7, 2025, in Kalawaan, Pasig City, Team Phoenix is a community-based badminton team built on discipline, unity, and passion for growth. What began as a small group of young players eager to leam has grown into an organized team recognized by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Kalawaan. True to the spirit of the Phoenix, the team rises from every setback, turning challenges into opportunities to improve, inspire, and compete. Team Phoenix welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes, with the belief that greatness is not measured by where you start, but by your commitment to rise and improve. Guided by its matto, "Rise as One. Fear No One," the team trains not only to build skill but also to develop character, humility, and resilience. Members are expected to uphold discipline, respect, and unity both inside and outside the court. Objectives: (1) The objectives of Team Phoenix are to provide structured training that strengthens the skills, discipline, and fitness of members while instilling the values of commitment, resilience, humility, and unity. (2) The team aims to prepare athletes to compete in tournaments at different levels, representing both Team Phoenix and Barangay Kalawaan with pride and honor. (3) It also seeks to implement a fair leveling and ranking system that promotes growth. accountability, and healthy competition. (4) Beyond performance. Team Phoenix strives to create a supportive environment where every player can improve, regardless of skill level, and to recognize excellence, hard work, and sportsmanship through awards and privileges. (5) At its core, the team aspires to inspire the youth of the community by promoting badminton as a tool for discipline, character-building, and a positive way of life.
