Guided by faith and commitment to service, PFAR is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, and culturally appropriate mental health support to the community, particularly the youth. The organization ensures that all services are free from coercion and uphold accountability to the people it serves. PFAR recognizes the youth not only as recipients but also as advocates of mental health, equipping volunteers with essential skills in peer support counseling and psychological first aid. Through its initiatives, PFAR seeks to create a safe and compassionate space, empowering young individuals to respond to crises, promote resilience, and foster a community free from stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health. Objectives 1. To provide immediate, accessible, and culturally sensitive psychological first aid services to individuals and communities in need. 2. To empower youth volunteers by equipping them with training and skills in peer support counseling and psychological first aid. 3. To promote mental health awareness and advocacy, encouraging young people to be active participants in creating a supportive community. 4. To foster safe spaces that uphold compassion, inclusivity, and respect, free from stigma and discrimination. 5. To strengthen partnerships with local government units, institutions, and organizations in advancing youth-led mental health initiatives. 6. To ensure accountability, transparency, and ethical standards in delivering services that respond to the psychological and emotional needs of the people.
