Active Citizenship

Kaya Natin Youth! Caloocan (KNYC) is a youth-le, non-profit and non-stock organization dedicated to promoting good governance, active citizenship, and inclusive nation-building among the youth of Caloocan City. It serves as a platform for young people to engage in community development, civic participation, and leadership initiatives that strengthen democratic values and social responsibility. Objectives: To mobilize the youth of Caloocan in programs, projects, and activities that promote civic engagement, volunteerism, and social responsibility. To develop youth leadership by fostering integrity, accountability, and ethical governance. To create partnerships and networks with schools, communities, organizations, and government institutions for youth empowerment. To advocate for policies and initiatives that advance the welfare, rights, and participation of the youth sector. To build an inclusive environment where young people can actively contribute to nation-building, guided by the principles of empowerment, equity, and empathy.
