Alab Pangkat Mananayaw is a dynamic dance troupe under Isabela State University Cabagan, known for its artistry, discipline, and passion for cultural and modern performances. It is recognized as one of the most outstanding campus-based organizations, consistently showcasing remarkable talent that has earned achievements within the university and on national platforms. The group is composed of skilled and dedicated dancers who not only excel in technical execution but also embody creativity, teamwork, and the burning spirit of excellence that the word “Alab” represents. With every performance, the troupe seeks to inspire audiences, celebrate Filipino identity, and highlight the importance of dance as a medium of expression, storytelling, and cultural preservation. The objectives of Alab Pangkat Mananayaw focus on nurturing both artistry and character among its members. It aims to develop technical proficiency and versatility in various dance genres, ranging from folk and cultural dances to contemporary and festival performances. At the same time, it strives to instill discipline, commitment, and camaraderie, ensuring that dancers grow not just as performers but also as individuals with strong values and leadership skills. Another key objective is to serve as a cultural ambassador of the university, promoting Filipino traditions and creativity through performances in local, regional, and national stages. The troupe also provides opportunities for students to express themselves artistically, discover their potential, and pursue excellence through training, collaboration, and exposure to competitions and showcases. Ultimately, Alab Pangkat Mananayaw envisions itself as a lasting symbol of passion and pride for ISU Cabagan, a group that ignites inspiration, unity, and cultural appreciation through the universal language of dance.
