The Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – CVCITC Chapter is a student organization that empowers students of the Cagayan Valley Computer and Information Technology College (CVCITC) enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) programs. Rooted in leadership, collaboration, and technical advancement, the organization cultivates students’ potential through dynamic and inclusive IT-related activities. JPCS provides a platform for students to develop into responsible individuals and professionals equipped with the technical and interpersonal skills essential for the modern world. The organization, identified by its lavender motif, fosters unity and identity among IT students across all year levels. Members actively engage in seminars, competitions, outreach programs, and other developmental events that align with academic goals and national ICT standards. The organization promotes ICT excellence by enhancing members’ skills and knowledge through workshops, training, and participation in local and national events. It fosters leadership and responsibility by encouraging meaningful involvement in organizational roles and activities. JPCS supports the academic and personal growth of members by offering opportunities for intellectual, social, and professional development. The society strengthens student engagement by building a strong network among IT and ACT students, promoting teamwork, unity, and peer support. It serves the community by initiating and participating in community extension programs, embodying service and civic engagement. Lastly, JPCS upholds institutional values by supporting and aligning with the mission and vision of CVCITC and contributing to the development of the BSIT and ACT programs.
