The Youth of Iglesia Filipina Independiente - Gatid (YIFI-Gatid) is the official religious youth sector of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) in Barangay Gatid, Santa Cruz, Laguna. Composed of members aged 13 to 35, this vibrant organization serves as a spiritual, cultural, and social arm of the church, rooted in the core values of faith, service, and patriotism. Guided by the motto “Pro Deo et Patria” (For God and Country), YIFI-Gatid seeks to nurture the youth in their Christian faith while actively engaging them in community service and nation-building. Inspired by the life and mission of their Patroness, Nuestra Señora Maria Dolores, the group is committed to promoting devotion, unity, and compassion among young Aglipayans. YIFI-Gatid organizes various church-based and community-oriented programs such as liturgical participation, youth fellowships, leadership trainings, outreach missions, environmental advocacies, and cultural celebrations. Through these activities, members are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their sense of identity as Filipino Christians, and develop their talents and leadership potential. As a dynamic and inclusive youth ministry, YIFI-Gatid continues to be a nurturing space where young individuals can grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially—empowered to live out their faith and to serve both the Church and the nation with integrity and love.
