Social Inclusion and Equity, Active Citizenship

The Young Missionaries of the Vicariate of St. Anne - Hagonoy is a community of young people united in faith, service, and mission. Inspired by the love of Christ and guided by the maternal care of St. Anne, the group aims to form youth who are rooted in prayer, committed to service, and dedicated to the mission of the Church. It serves as a venue for the youth to encounter Christ more deeply, develop their God-given talents, and use them in building a living, vibrant, and missionary Church. The Young Missionaries act as companions of their fellow youth in the journey of faith. They are called not only to assist in liturgical and parish activities but also to extend their service to the community, especially the poor, the vulnerable, and those in need of God's love. Through fellowship, formation, and mission outreach, the Young Missionaries strive to live out their Christian identity and become modern witnesses of the Gospel. Objectives 1. To deepen the faith of the youth through prayer, catechesis, and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church. 2. To promote a spirit of service by encouraging members to assist in liturgical ministries, parish programs, and community outreach. 3. To foster unity and friendship among young people, building a support system rooted in Christian values and fraternity. 4. To develop leadership and talents of the youth so they may use their gifts in the service of the Church and society. 5. To strengthen devotion to St. Anne, taking inspiration from her faith and maternal guidance as a model for Christian discipleship. 6. To become active missionaries who bring Christ's message of hope, love, and compassion to others, especially the marginalized.
