Education, Governance
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Old San Agustin National High School (OSANHS) is the highest governing student organization in the school, mandated by the Department of Education through DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2014, and strengthened by DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2016. It serves as the official representative body of the student population, promoting democratic participation, leadership, and service among learners. The SSLG acts as a bridge between the student body and the school administration, ensuring that student voices are heard and considered in school decision-making processes. It upholds the values of discipline, integrity, and active citizenship, fostering a culture of collaboration and volunteerism. The organization also leads in the implementation of projects that advance the welfare, development, and empowerment of students—academically, socially, and morally. The SSLG of OSANHS operates as a youth organization that embodies the principles of good governance. Through various programs, it develops student leaders who are proactive, responsible, and service-oriented. It aims to create meaningful opportunities for learners to contribute to school improvement, community engagement, and nation-building.
