The Youth for Environment in School (YES-O) of Daram National High School Senior High School is a student-led organization committed to promoting environmental awareness, sustainable practices, and active participation in environment protection among the youth. Align with the Department of Education`s thrust to integrate environmental education curriculum, YES-O serves a platform for students to take initiative in addressing ecological issues within the school and the broader community. YES-O empower students to become stewards of the environment through various programs and activities that foster discipline, responsibility and teamwork. it engages students in hands-on projects such as clean-up drives, tree planting, waste segregation campaigns, ecological workshop and information dissemination on pressing environmental concerns like climate change, biodiversity loss and population. As an officially recognized co-curricular organization, YES-O also collaborates with local government units (LGU`s), Barangays and environmental agencies to further its advocacy and expand its impact beyond the school premises. Its primary objective is to promote environmental awareness, instill environmental discipline, lead eco-friendly initiatives, support school and community engagement, develop leadership and citizenship and enhance disaster preparedness and climate action.
