Florence Nightingale's Club (FNC) is a school organization under the College of Nursing and Allied Health at Laguna State Polytechnic University Santa Cruz. The club is driven to develop the professional and personal growth of its members while upholding the values and standards of the nursing profession. In line with the vision of the College of Nursing and Allied Health to be a prime leader in healthcare education, we aim to cultivate competent nursing students who are prepared to respond to the needs of our clients and diverse communities. Through active participation in academic, community, and professional activities, members develop their clinical skills, critical thinking, and leadership abilities, which contributes to a healthier society. Objectives of FNC: ? Promote lifelong learning and professional development among nursing students. ? Provide opportunities for members to engage in community service, research, and extension activities. ? Foster a learning environment that nurtures skills, ethical practice, and leadership in healthcare. ? Strengthen collaboration with stakeholders, the community, and allied health organization for enhanced learning advocacy. ? Uphold the core values of the College—Caring, Obedience, Nationalism, Adeptness, and Humaneness—in every activity and initiative. ? Prepare Members to excel in licensure, certificate, and future healthcare careers while promoting integrity, professionalism, and innovation. Through our activities, we hope to inspire nursing students to embody the ideals of service, empathy, and excellence in their journey toward becoming competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
