The Kalipunan ng Malayang Humanista (KALAYAAN Club) of Guiguinto National Vocational High School is a student-led organization that upholds the values of humanism, critical thinking, empathy, and civic engagement. Founded on September 8, 2023, the club provides a platform for Senior High School students from all strands to express their ideas freely, celebrate human dignity, and take part in meaningful social and cultural initiatives. Rooted in the Humanities and Social Sciences discipline, the KALAYAAN Club envisions a community of compassionate and reflective learners who lead with integrity and respect for others. It serves as a venue for discussions, creative expressions, and projects that promote awareness of social issues and the importance of active citizenship. Specifically, the organization aims to: 1. Promote humanistic values such as empathy, respect, and social responsibility among students; 2. Encourage critical and creative thinking through educational, cultural, and advocacy-based activities; 3. Develop student leadership and community participation in support of nation-building; 4. Strengthen collaboration among students from different strands in addressing social and developmental concerns; and 5. Support the school’s mission of forming well-rounded individuals through active participation in youth development programs.
