Health, Education, Peace-Building and Security

The Tomas V. Rivera National High School Supreme Student Government is the highest governing body of the students. This organization is working to answer the mandated programs, projects and activities by the Department Education for the betterment of the school and in order to produce competent, responsible and values-oriented learners. During the School Year 2021-2022, the TVRNHS SSG organization had implemented programs, projects and activities. These were (1) Giving of School Supplies to the Kindergarten with the program entitled, “Mula sa Guro Handog ay Regalo, (2) Tree Planting Activity with the project entitled, “Project PAT: Plant a Tree”, (3) Coastal Clean-Up with the activity entitled, “Coastal Clean-Up Gawing Ganap”, (4) Advocacy Campaign on Proper Waste Disposal with the program entitled, “Tamang Pagtapon Info-Dissemination”, (5) Advocacy Campaign on Anti- Drug Abuse with the program named, “Project FAD: Facts About Drug-Abuse” and (6) lead the conduct of the School-based Teachers Day Celebration. Hopefully by the School Year 2024-2025, the organization will be able to sustain the activities conducted last School Year 2023-2024 and implement additional activities which may help enhance the potential of the learners. The organization is aiming to attain the target objectives namely: (1) to help students develop their values and competencies, (2) to encourage students to be proactive member of the society, (3) to implement programs, projects and activities, (4) to promote rights and welfare of every student and (5) to uphold the ideals of the Department of Education.
