The Aki Kan Libmanan Community-Based Learning project is a livelihood and educational initiative designed to empower local residents of Libmanan through skills development and knowledge enhancement. This project recognizes the vital role of education and livelihood training in fostering self-reliance, economic productivity, and community progress. It aims to provide sustainable opportunities for learning and income generation, particularly for marginalized individuals and families who seek to improve their quality of life. Through collaborative efforts between students, facilitators, and community members, Aki Kan Libmanan serves as a platform for experiential learning and civic engagement. It integrates both academic learning and practical application by conducting workshops, seminars, and livelihood demonstrations that address the community’s needs. In doing so, it strengthens the bond between educational institutions and the community, ensuring that knowledge gained in classrooms translates into meaningful social contribution and economic development. Objectives: To promote sustainable livelihood programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of community members for self-employment and income generation. To provide educational support and training that improve literacy, financial awareness, and technical proficiency among participants. To foster a spirit of collaboration between students and the local community through active participation and shared learning experiences. To encourage community empowerment by cultivating values of self-reliance, cooperation, and continuous learning.
