Tech and Home Innovator (TecHI) Brief Description: The Tech and Home Innovator (TecHI) is a student organization composed of learners from the Technical- Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track, specifically from the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Home Economics (HE) specializations. The club promotes skill development, creativity, and innovation by engaging members in activities that apply real-world ICT and HE competencies. TecHI provides opportunities for students to explore digital technologies, technical problem-solving, culinary and household management skills, and community-centered projects. Through collaborative learning and hands-on experiences, the club empowers students to become competent, responsible, and service-oriented individuals. TecHI also supports school initiatives, advocates environmental awareness, and upholds the DepEd core values through meaningful participation and community outreach. Objectives: 1. Develop Technical Skills – Enhance students’ competencies in ICT and Home Economics through practical, skill-based activities, workshops, and school-community services. 2. Promote Innovation and Creativity – Encourage members to design, create, and showcase outputs that highlight both digital and home-living skills. 3. Strengthen Leadership and Teamwork – Provide opportunities for students to lead activities, collaborate with peers, and develop confidence in planning and organizing projects. 4. Foster Values-Driven Action – Uphold the DepEd core values by promoting respect, volunteerism, environmental care, and responsible citizenship through club initiatives. 5. Support School and Community Engagement – Participate in school programs and partner with nearby communities to offer simple tech-literacy sessions, HE demonstrations, and service-oriented activities. 6. Prepare Students for Future Careers – Equip members with practical skills, work habits, and attitudes aligned with TVL-related pathways and real-world applications.
