Health, Education, Environment
The WASH In School (WinS) Club serves as the leading student organization dedicated to promoting Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) within our school community. As the primary student voice for WinS initiatives, the club is committed to fostering a clean, healthy, and safe learning environment for all learners. Our club operates on the principles of responsible student leadership, active participation, and community well-being. We embody the values of "Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa" by translating these into actionable WASH programs. The WinS Club has several key objectives: • Reinforce Department of Education guidelines on WASH practices. • Empower learners to take ownership of hygiene and sanitation within the school. • Motivate students to become advocates for sustainable WASH practices in their homes and communities. • Instill a sense of environmental responsibility and a commitment to public health. We actively collaborate with the school administration to implement effective WASH policies and maintain facilities that support a hygienic environment. This partnership ensures a learner friendly, safe, and stimulating space conducive to health and learning. We also work to foster an inclusive, service-oriented, gender-sensitive, culturally conscious, and environmentally aware community regarding WASH. The WinS Club is dedicated to serving, protecting, and advocating for every learner’s right to a healthy and hygienic school environment. We are committed to upholding the principles of good governance, promoting integrity, and ensuring compliance with all school and Department of Education regulations pertaining to WASH.
