Social Inclusion and Equity, Active Citizenship
TAGPINAS – Lebak is youth-driven organization that aims to weave a tapestry of youth-led resolutions based on what the youth needs, primarily rooted in Model United Nations, to shape actionable outcomes by engaging with government agencies—wielding resolutions as blueprints for policy advocacy and, eventually, legally-binding ordinances and laws. In TAGPINAS – Lebak we seek to fashion a world where youth-led resolutions are not merely heard or dismissed, but woven into law to create systemic change—one thread at a time. From small-town threads to national change, we aim to weave resolutions not just to be heard; but to be lived. For we believe that the voices of the youth are not just merely echoes in the room. Hence, they are the start of something bigger. Every idea, every draft, every debate is a stitch toward laws that matter, and policies that last. Moreover, TAGPINAS-Lebak’s core objectives includes: (1) To promote civic education and youth empowerment through Model UN simulations and related platforms with a goal to implement Draft Resolutions into ordinances, (2) Build partnerships with institutions and agencies for collaborative advocacy, (3) Equip youth with the skills to draft, debate, and defend policy proposals, (4) Publish youth-led policy narratives, features, and initiatives, and (4) Create inclusive, safe spaces for civic dialogue, growth, and storytelling.
