ES-O aims to (1) raise awareness among students and the community about the state of the Philippine environment and ecology, and the prevailing environmental issues and concerns; (2) implement concrete and doable programs, projects, and activities that address those environmental issues and needs; (3) establish networks and partnerships with other government and non-government organizations — including YES-O groups from other schools — to support and assist in environmental programs and initiatives; (4) encourage community participation and initiative in environmental and ecological movements and actions beyond the school; and (5) foster in its members and the community proper environmental values, skills, and attitudes that promote conservation, sustainability, and responsible stewardship of nature.
