The MSU-MSHS Tribunes Debate League is the official debate organization of Mindanao State University–Marawi Senior High School. Founded on the principles of democracy, equity, and excellence, the League exists to advance the practice of debate, public speaking, and reasoned discourse within the institution. It serves as a venue where students may strengthen their critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills, while also fostering awareness of pressing social and national issues. In doing so, the League seeks not only to uphold academic and extracurricular excellence but also to represent MSU-MSHS with integrity and honor in regional and national platforms. Objectives 1. To establish debate as an essential academic and extracurricular pursuit in MSU-MSHS. 2. To equip members with skills in critical thinking, logical reasoning, and persuasive communication. 3. To provide structured opportunities for training, competition, and intellectual exchange. 4. To represent MSU-MSHS in interschool, regional, and national debate activities with competence and integrity. 5. To uphold democratic values, inclusivity, and fairness in all activities of the League. 6. To encourage civic awareness and active participation of members in issues affecting society.
