The Guild of English Message Servants (GEMS) is a registered and recognized English club organization in Godofredo Reyes Sr. National High School. It was created to help students develop their skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The club promotes the idea that English is not only a subject but also a tool for expression and connection. GEMS offers various activities that allow members to practice and grow. These include storytelling, spoken poetry, essay writing, public speaking, and other activities. Each activity is designed to build confidence and encourage creativity in using the English language. The club also teaches responsibility in communication. Members are encouraged to use words that inspire, inform, and influence others in a respectful way. GEMS believes that strong communication skills lead to better leadership and understanding. During school-wide celebrations like English Month, Reading Month, and Buwan ng Wika, GEMS takes part by leading programs and competitions. The club works closely with teachers and students to make these events successful and meaningful. GEMS continues to serve as a platform for students who want to lead, serve, and grow through the power of language. It remains a valuable part of the school community, shaping future communicators and leaders.
