The Oriental Mindoro Parliament of Young Leaders (OMPYL) is a youth-led, policy-oriented assembly that empowers young Mindoreños to participate meaningfully in local governance by crafting evidence-based, sector-focused, and community-responsive policy recommendations. Through its five committees Agriculture and Environment, Education, Economic Empowerment, Health, and Participation and Governance OMPYL fosters informed advocacy, develops leadership and civic competencies, and promotes inclusive collaboration with government, civil society, and other stakeholders. Its objectives include strengthening youth involvement in public affairs, advancing research-driven solutions to provincial issues, and upholding transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership to help shape sustainable and equitable development in Oriental Mindoro.
