The Junior Entrepreneurship and Marketing Association (JEMA) of Mindanao State University – Main Campus is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political, and student-managed organization under the Department of Marketing, College of Business Administration and Accountancy. It serves as the official student body for BS in Marketing Management and BS in Entrepreneurship students, providing opportunities for academic enrichment, professional growth, and community involvement. Guided by its commitment to excellence, professionalism, and social responsibility, JEMA organizes programs and activities that enhance members’ knowledge, skills, and values, preparing them to become competent and ethical leaders in the fields of marketing and entrepreneurship. Objectives JEMA is established to: 1. Promote Engagement – Stimulate greater interest and enthusiasm among marketing and entrepreneurship students by offering relevant insights and learning experiences. 2. Foster Holistic Development – Uplift the standards of students through the enhancement of their intellectual, social, physical, spiritual, and moral well-being. 3. Integrate Theory and Practice – Educate and expose members to the real-world application of marketing and entrepreneurship knowledge through practical experiences, projects, and collaborations. 4. Uphold Student Welfare – Protect members from unfair treatment within the university and ensure their rights and well-being are respected. 5. Encourage Collaboration – Promote camaraderie and meaningful interaction among students both inside and outside the campus, fostering unity and mutual support. Through these objectives, JEMA aims to produce highly skilled, values-driven, and socially responsible individuals who will contribute to the advancement of the marketing and entrepreneurship profession and serve as agents of positive change in the community.
