The TORCH Organization is dedicated to fostering a spirit of cooperation among students, promoting the development of essential 21st-century skills, and encouraging mutual understanding through a wide range of social, civic, academic, and recreational activities. Serving as an active forum for students’ ideas and sentiments, TORCH provides a platform for members to express their opinions, engage in constructive discussions, and contribute to initiatives that create a positive impact on the school community. In alignment with the vision and mission of Navotas Polytechnic College, the organization actively supports the attainment of the institution’s goals and objectives by participating in programs that enhance learning, community engagement, and holistic development. TORCH emphasizes the growth of responsible students by nurturing qualities such as good citizenship, effective leadership, and civic-mindedness, ensuring that members develop not only academically but also socially and ethically. Additionally, the organization offers numerous opportunities for students to serve the school community by conceptualizing, planning, and implementing projects, programs, events, and activities that require collaborative participation between members and the College Administration. These experiences enable students to gain practical skills, develop leadership and organizational abilities, and understand the importance of teamwork and service. Moreover, TORCH is committed to protecting and advocating for the rights and welfare of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education students, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed within the academic and administrative framework. By combining advocacy, service, and personal development, the TORCH Organization contributes to the growth of individual members while strengthening the school community as a whole. Through its initiatives, TORCH empowers students to make meaningful contributions, fostering an environment where members are equipped to become competent, responsible, and civically engaged citizens who can positively impact society and uphold the values and objectives of both the organization and the College.
