Education

The Lourdes’ Light shall serve primarily as a newspaper of and for the students. It shall protect and promote the constitutionally mandated rights of students to free speech and of expression. In addition, it shall protect the students’ rights and welfare. The Lourdes’ Light, being an independent institution, shall not be subjected to any form of censorship. In turn, the editors and staff shall see to it that The Lourdes’ Light exercises academic and campus press freedom in accordance with the Laws. It shall also seek to protect and promote press freedom by taking firm and assertive stance against elements endangering such right.
