The LOCAL YOUTH PEACE BUILDERS IN ACTION (LYPBA), established in Ditsa-an Ramain on January 5, 2025, represents a significant initiative dedicated to promoting peace and fostering unity within the community. This organization emerged from the collaborative efforts of diverse youth sectors in Ditsa-an Ramain, reflecting the unwavering commitment of young individuals to build a more peaceful and harmonious society for all. ORIGINS AND MOTIVATION: In December 2024, series of misunderstandings and disagreements among youth groups in Ditsa-an Ramain highlighted the pressing need for a harmonious and unified approach to conflict resolution and community development. In response to this situation, a group of compassionate and proactive young leaders recognized the importance of fostering unity and collaboration within the community. This collective effort led to the establishment of the Local Youth Peace Builders in Action (LYPBA) on January 5, 2025, during a Capacity Building training session designed for Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) leaders and various youth organizations. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: * Foster the development of empowered and effective youth peace advocates in Ditsa-an Ramain who ared equipped to lead initiatives that promote peace and understanding. * Exemplify strong youth leadership and reliability during challenging times, demonstrating resilience and commitment to community well-being. *Preserve and celebrate cultural identity by nurturing a sense of patriotism among the youth, encouraging them to honor their heritage while promoting unity. * Cultivate a generation of competitive and dependable youth peace-builders who are skilled in conflict resolution and community engagement. * Inspire and encourage active contributions from the youth towards creating a peaceful and harmonious community, where every individual feels valued and included.
