The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is a student-led organization that implements programs and activities to foster leadership, promote student welfare, and enhance the school community of Cagayan de Oro National High School – Senior High School (CDONHS-SHS). It serves as the foremost co-curricular body or the highest student governing body in all secondary schools in the Philippines, particularly in Cagayan de Oro National High School – Senior High School, empowering students to take on leadership roles, manage projects, and voice their concerns to school administration mandated by the Department of Education (DepEd) as part of its Learner Government Program to represent all students. Its main objectives are: • Develop leadership: The SSLG provides a platform for students to practice and develop leadership skills, prepare them to be responsible and capable citizens. • Implement school programs: It serves as the primary organization authorized to implement programs, projects, and activities for the student body, ensuring they are learner-led. • Represent student voice: The SSLG represents the student body, giving learners a voice in school decision-making and ensuring their general welfare is considered. • Unify student organizations: It functions as an "umbrella" organization, where all other clubs and organizations are attached to it and must align their activities with the SSLG's advocacies. • Promote holistic development: The SSLG is part of the Learner Government Program (LGP), which aims to contribute to the overall growth and development of students.
