Rover Circles United 08 (RCU 08) is a duly recognized Rover Scout Circle under the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Cabanatuan City Council. It is composed of young adults committed to living out the ideals of Scouting, service, leadership, faith, and nation-building. Since its establishment, RCU 08 has served as a platform for developing socially responsible leaders through community service, disaster response, environmental stewardship, youth formation, and Catholic Scouting initiatives, in partnership with schools, parishes, and local communities. Objectives: 1.Develop Servant-Leaders To form competent, values-driven Rover Scouts who exemplify leadership, integrity, and active citizenship. 2.Promote Community Service To actively respond to community needs through outreach programs, humanitarian service, and social development initiatives. 3.Strengthen the Scouting Movement To support and expand Scouting in schools, parishes, and communities, particularly through Rovering and Catholic Scouting programs. 4.Advance Environmental and Sustainable Actions To advocate environmental protection and climate action through green skills projects and eco-friendly initiatives. 5.Enhance Disaster Preparedness and Response To contribute to disaster risk reduction, emergency response, and resilience-building efforts in coordination with local stakeholders. 6.Foster Brotherhood and Unity To strengthen camaraderie, teamwork, and lifelong friendship among Rover Scouts anchored on the Scout Oath and Law.
