Education, Governance, Active Citizenship, Environment
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the foremost student governing body in the secondary level, established to represent the voice, interests, and welfare of all learners. Guided by democratic values, the SSLG serves as a bridge between the school administration, teachers, and the student body. It aims to promote active learner participation, leadership development, and responsible citizenship through meaningful programs, advocacy campaigns, and student-led initiatives. Rooted in the Department of Education's vision for empowered learners, the SSLG fosters a school environment where students can express their concerns, showcase their talents, and participate in decision-making processes. It also functions as a training ground where student leaders enhance their skills in communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and community service. Through various activities, the SSLG upholds the principles of integrity, transparency, collaboration, and service-oriented leadership. The SSLG is also committed to building a positive school culture by organizing projects that promote academic excellence, mental health awareness, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. With the guidance of its advisers, the SSLG ensures that every program is responsive to the needs of the learners and aligned with the school's goals.
