The Biological Sciences Society is a newly reformed society formerly known as the Biological Society under the College of Arts and Sciences at LSPU – SCC, which is composed of students and faculty members. The Society seeks to promote excellence, camaraderie, competence, interest, fulfillment, and unity among its members to support the goals of the College and the Program. To this end, the Society shall operate under the College of Arts and Sciences, and its officers shall, by virtue of their election, also serve as part of the Coalition of Arts and Sciences Societies (CASS). Objectives of the Organization The Society shall have the following objectives: 1. To promote competence, camaraderie, and leadership. 2. To hone the potential and augment the knowledge and skills of its members so that after they graduate, they will showcase competence as a fully pledged biologists and other similar careers. 3. To plan, implement and evaluate different programs in the interest of the campus and the Society. 4. To conduct income-generating projects for future activities and tangible projects beneficial to the Program and Society, thereof.
