The Youth for Environment In Schools Organization (YES-O) is a school-based co-curricular organization in the Philippines established under the Department of Education to promote environmental awareness, protection, and aThe ction among students. It serves as a platform for the youth to lead and engage in various eco-friendly initiatives such as clean-up drives, tree planting, waste segregation, recycling programs, and climate change advocacy. YES-O aims to empower students to become responsible stewards of the environment by developing their leadership, cooperation, and sense of community involvement. Through its programs, it nurtures a deep respect for nature and encourages sustainable practices both in school and in the wider community. The mission of YES-O is to empower the Filipino youth to become environmentally conscious, socially responsible, and actively involved in promoting sustainable practices in schools and communities while supporting national and global environmental goals. Its vision is to build generation of proactive, informed, and committed young leaders who advocate for environmental protection and sustainable development, contributing to the creation of a cleaner, greener, and more resilient society.
