The YOUTH FOR ENVIRONMENT IN SCHOOLS ORGANIZATION (YES-O) OF SICSICAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL is a student-led organization that serves as the Department of Education’s co-curricular arm in promoting environmental awareness, protection, and action. Guided by the principles of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and youth participation, YES-O provides a platform where students become advocates and role models for eco-friendly practices both in school and in the community. The organization spearheads activities aligned with national and global environmental movements such as clean-up drives, tree planting, ecological awareness campaigns, waste management initiatives, and science-based programs that highlight the role of youth in addressing environmental issues.
