Haraya Kabataan is a youth organization primarily composed of young individuals, united by a shared commitment to youth empowerment, leadership development, and community transformation. It serves as a platform where the youth can actively participate in programs and initiatives that address youth-related concerns while nurturing their potential as responsible, ethical, and service-oriented leaders. Operating at the city/municipal level, Haraya Kabataan draws its membership from various barangays, ensuring inclusivity and grassroots engagement. As a community-based and school-based organization, it grounds its programs within local communities and educational institutions, allowing members to translate ideals into concrete actions. Guided by the belief that the youth are key agents of social change, the organization promotes creativity, critical thinking, volunteerism, and civic responsibility. Haraya Kabataan envisions a generation of empowered youth who dare to dream (“haraya”) and take purposeful action toward nation-building, social development, and sustainable progress. The objective of Haraya Kabataan is to empower and develop socially responsible, values-driven, and proactive youth by providing opportunities for leadership training, skills enhancement, and meaningful participation in community and school-based activities. The organization aims to strengthen youth involvement in initiatives that respond to youth-related issues, foster unity and collaboration among young people, and amplify youth voices in decision-making processes. Through purposeful programs and collective action, Haraya Kabataan seeks to cultivate competent and compassionate youth leaders who transform their aspirations into concrete contributions toward community development, social progress, and nation-building.
