The Broadcasting Society (BroadSoc) is a university-based organization under the College of Arts and Sciences, Laguna State Polytechnic University – Sta. Cruz Campus (LSPU–SCC). It is a civic, multicultural, non-partisan, and non-sectarian society composed of students who share a common passion for media, communication, and creative expression. BroadSoc serves as a platform for aspiring broadcasters and media practitioners to enhance their skills, discover their potential, and contribute meaningfully to both the campus and the larger community. Guided by its commitment to excellence, unity, and inclusivity, BroadSoc aims to cultivate a culture of respect and understanding among its members while fostering creativity, responsibility, and professionalism. The organization envisions itself as a dynamic and collaborative community that not only hones talents but also upholds the values of ethical communication and social awareness. Objectives: 1. To promote respect, unity, and appreciation of cultural and traditional differences among members. 2. To plan, implement, and evaluate programs that serve the interests of the campus and society. 3. To discover and develop the unique talents and abilities of each member through creative and media- related activities. 4. To prepare members to become active, responsible, and dynamic stakeholders in promoting progress within and beyond the university. 5. To uphold the standards of broadcasting and media communication while aligning with the mission and goals of LSPU–SCC. Through these objectives, BroadSoc continues to empower student voices, foster collaboration, and inspire excellence in the field of broadcasting and communication.
