The Learner Government Program (LGP) required the establishment of the SSLG (Supreme Secondary Learner Government) in DepEd (Department of Education), designating it as the highest student governing body in secondary schools to promote leadership, develop skills, and empower students in school governance through elections and established constitutions. The SSLG Promote the active and open communication between students, school teachers, school organizations and etc. They serve as a voice that leads to actions and assist their fellow students to enhance their student learning exp.
