iFIGHT – CCC Chapter is a non-academic organization inside the City College of Calamba. This organization is the first chapter in southern Luzon of iFIGHT which is a pillar of Visayan Forum. This group for the youth was created to end human trafficking, modern slavery, and other forms of abuse. It is a strong movement that raises awareness and reduces the vulnerability of the youth to human trafficking through training and partnerships with various stakeholders such as academic institutions, local governments and communities, media, and faith-based groups. iFIGHT is a platform for young leaders to connect, exchange knowledge, and report potential abuse through direct and social media engagement. To ensure sustainability, this chapter was created with the city scholars of Calamba organizing child protection and youth empowerment activities. Therefore, the goal of this organization is to ensure that young people are empowered to protect themselves through adequate information on how to identify, check, and report trafficking and other forms of exploitation. Lastly, with the tagline “We equip, train and empower the youth to become iFIGHTers” this organization empowers youth to learn how to stand and be the voice of youths that are vulnerable.
