The Buscayan Youth Organization (BYO), established in 1970, is a dynamic community-based group in Barangay Buscayan, Macrohon, Southern Leyte. Dedicated to the holistic development of the youth, BYO aims to cultivate a community of empowered, responsible young leaders who contribute positively to society. The organization's vision is to inspire and nurture the potential of every young individual, fostering a sense of purpose, unity, and civic engagement. BYO’s objectives are multifaceted. It seeks to develop a strong youth organization based on solid moral values and principles, encouraging active participation and civic responsibility in community affairs. Recognizing and nurturing the talents and abilities of its members is a priority, enabling them to actively participate in both barangay and municipal activities. Additionally, BYO emphasizes the importance of spiritual development by promoting participation in religious events, which enhances the moral and spiritual growth of its members.
