The Amazon Web Services Learning Club – Polar (AWS LC – Polar) is a non-profit, student-led organization committed to advancing cloud computing literacy, innovation, and collaboration among learners across the campuses of Santa Rosa City, Laguna. As a pioneering AWS-focused community, the club provides an inclusive and supportive space where students can explore Amazon Web Services, develop essential cloud skills, and engage in meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for the demands of the digital workforce. Through workshops, seminars, and hands-on activities, the organization aims to strengthen students’ technical competency in AWS services and cloud computing fundamentals, while also fostering a vibrant community of aspiring cloud professionals who can exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and support one another’s growth. The club further seeks to bridge academic learning with industry exposure by creating opportunities for students to interact with AWS experts through guest lectures, professional talks, and potential internships. Additionally, AWS LC–Polar encourages student-led innovation by supporting projects that utilize AWS technologies, allowing members to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios and contribute to technological advancement. Above all, the organization prioritizes student development by ensuring that all initiatives promote academic excellence, professional readiness, and personal growth within an accessible, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment.
