The Asuncion Youth Organization (AYO) is a community-based youth group located in Barangay Asuncion, Macrohon, Southern Leyte, established in 2023 to serve young people aged 15 to 30 years old. The organization provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where youth are encouraged to grow as responsible individuals and active community members. AYO aims to unite the youth of Barangay Asuncion by promoting leadership, cooperation, and positive values while actively supporting barangay programs and initiatives. Through meaningful participation in social, cultural, environmental, and developmental activities, the organization seeks to strengthen the role of youth in local governance and community progress. Its objectives focus on empowering young people through leadership development, skills training, and educational support, while fostering unity, volunteerism, and social responsibility. AYO also promotes healthy lifestyles through sports, cultural, and recreational activities, and raises awareness of social, civic, and environmental issues affecting both the youth and the community. By serving as a platform for youth representation and engagement, the Asuncion Youth Organization remains committed to developing confident, values-oriented, and socially aware young leaders who will contribute positively to the sustainable growth and development of Barangay Asuncion.
