The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the highest governing student body in the school, duly recognized by the Department of Education. It serves as the voice of the student, representing their rights, welfare, and interests. The SSLG provides opportunities for leadership development, civic engagement, and active participation in school programs and community projects. Through collaborative efforts with the school administration, teachers, and stakeholders, the SSLG fosters unity, discipline, and service-oriented leadership among students, ensuring that they become responsible citizens and future leaders of society. OBJECTIVES Promote Student Welfare and Rights – Advocate for the needs, concerns, and well-being of students within the school. Develop Leadership and Civic Responsibility – Provide meaningful opportunities for students to practice good governance, teamwork, and decision-making. Encourage Active Participation – Support school programs, projects, and activities that enhance academic and extracurricular development. Foster Discipline and Good Values – Serve as role models in upholding school rules, respect, and integrity among the student body. Strengthen School-Community Partnership – Organize outreach programs, campaigns, and projects that address community needs and promote volunteerism. Promote a Safe and Inclusive School Environment – Initiate programs that build camaraderie, respect for diversity, and a positive school culture.
