Education

The Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (B.E.R.T.) is the official school-based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) club of San Jose National High School. It empowers learners to become proactive, informed, and resilient leaders who are prepared to respond to emergencies and reduce disaster risks in the school and community. B.E.R.T. was established in response to DepEd Order No. 23, s. 2015, which mandates the institutionalization of school DRRM activities. Youth involvement in disaster preparedness is crucial in building a safe, resilient, and disaster-ready school environment.
