The Student Executive Council (SEC) is the highest and autonomous representative body of the student community at Liceo di San Lorenzo. Guided by the school’s mission to develop graduates who are globally competitive, compassionate, and rooted in faith, the SEC serves as the voice of the students. It promotes participatory democracy, responsible leadership, collaboration, and accountability. Through its programs and activities, the SEC fosters academic, socio-civic, and leadership growth among students. Objectives of the SEC Foster love of God, patriotism, moral integrity, personal discipline, and compassion for others. Represent students in school policymaking to safeguard their rights and welfare. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment. Promote service-oriented, gender-sensitive, and environmentally conscious practices. Develop students’ self-confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to prepare them for global competitiveness. Encourage academic excellence and holistic personal growth. Uphold the values, principles, and ideals of Liceo di San Lorenzo. The SEC serves not only as a bridge between students and the administration but also as a platform for nurturing leadership, community involvement, and a sense of responsibility. By engaging in meaningful initiatives and activities, the council empowers students to grow academically, socially, and morally, ensuring that they are equipped to contribute positively to the school and the wider community.
