The Association of Mathematics Enthusiasts (AME) is a student-led organization under the College of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Philippines that brings together students who share an interest in Mathematics. The organization was created to make learning Mathematics more engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful for students, whether they excel in the subject or simply want to improve their skills. AME serves as a space where members can learn together, exchange ideas, and grow both academically and personally. Through various activities such as seminars, workshops, academic competitions, and collaborative projects, the organization helps students strengthen their mathematical understanding while developing critical and logical thinking skills. Beyond academics, AME also encourages teamwork, leadership, and active participation by allowing members to take part in planning and implementing organizational activities. The organization values respect, inclusivity, and cooperation among its members. It recognizes that every student has unique abilities and potential, and it aims to support holistic development by creating opportunities for growth inside and outside the classroom. By working closely with its officers, members, and the university community, AME hopes to inspire a deeper appreciation for Mathematics and prepare students to become competent, confident, and socially responsible individuals.
