Health, Education, Social Inclusion and Equity
The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is the highest student governing body in the secondary school, officially recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd). It serves as the primary organization that represents the voice, interests, and welfare of learners. The SSLG acts as a bridge between the student body, school administration, teachers, parents, and the community, ensuring active student participation in school governance and decision-making. The organization is student-led and operates within the school to promote responsible leadership, discipline, unity, and active citizenship among learners. Through various programs and initiatives, the SSLG encourages democratic processes, volunteerism, and youth empowerment while supporting academic excellence and holistic development. Objectives of the SSLG are to: 1. Represent and uphold the rights, interests, and welfare of students. 2. Develop leadership skills, responsibility, and accountability among learners. 3. Promote student participation in school programs, activities, and policy-making. 4. Foster unity, cooperation, and respect within the school community. 5. Support academic, cultural, environmental, and social development initiatives. 6. Serve as a communication link between students and school authorities. 7. Encourage values formation, discipline, and service-oriented leadership. Through these objectives, the SSLG aims to nurture responsible, empowered, and socially aware learners who actively contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
