Education

The English Enthusiasts is a premier student organization established under the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (ABELS) program. Dedicated to the academic and personal growth of its members, the organization serves as a vital support system designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical application. Its primary purpose is to empower students to explore the nuances of the English language, fostering an environment where self-discovery and linguistic mastery go hand in hand. At the heart of the organization is a commitment to creating a vibrant English-speaking culture within the college. The English Enthusiasts realize this vision through two main functional goals: providing members with realistic settings to practice their skills and organizing engaging activities, such as educational tours, that build camaraderie. By offering a "brave space" for practice, the organization helps students overcome the hesitation often associated with language learning, allowing them to gain the courage necessary to communicate effectively in diverse professional and social settings. To guide its mission, the organization operates under five core objectives. First, it strives to make students aware of the global importance of the English language. Second, it works to establish and strengthen a consistent English-speaking environment on campus. Third, it provides a dedicated platform for the student body. Finally, through a variety of interactive activities, it helps students build the confidence to use English fluently. Ultimately, the English Enthusiasts organization is more than just an academic club; it is a community where students develop their personalities and prepare for their future careers through the power of language.
