The SocScie STARS is a school-based organization committed to the realization of promoting academic excellence by providing students with opportunities to enhance their knowledge in social sciences through workshops, seminars and discussions that stimulate critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and a deeper understanding on societal issues. It also fosters personal and social development by helping students develop essential life skills such as leadership, communication and problem solving through participation in collaborative projects, team building activities and community engagement. Encourage civic responsibility and engagement to cultivate a sense of civic duty by encouraging students to participate in community service, outreach programs and advocacy projects that address local and global issues fostering responsible and active citizenship. It also provides a platform for expression and advocacy to create spaces for students to voice their opinion, raise awareness on social justice issues and engage in meaningful discussions about societal challenges helping them become more aware of their role in the world. It also supports mental and emotional well – being by organizing events, workshops and peer support activities that promote mental health awareness, emotional resilience, and stress management techniques contributing to the overall well-being of members.
