Peace-Building and Security

The Youth for Peace Movement – Batangas City is a youth-led organization in partnership with the Armed Forces of the Philippines that promotes peace, unity, and active citizenship by empowering young individuals to become leaders and advocates for sustainable development. It envisions a generation that embraces diversity, positive activism, and volunteerism, equipping the youth with leadership skills, strong values, and a commitment to nation-building. Through initiatives such as peace education, leadership training, volunteer efforts, and community- based programs, the organization fosters cooperation, discipline, and nationalism. Its objectives include promoting solidarity among youth, supporting civic programs, and inspiring others to uphold peace and good citizenship—all grounded in the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The organization believes that peace is a shared responsibility and that empowering the youth today paves the way for a safer, more unified future.
