State of Youth Iligan is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young leaders and serving communities and providing support and service to students, families, youth, and individuals in need across Iligan City focusing on initiatives aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with the international body (State of Youth). However, this chapter will put an emphasis on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). State of Youth Iligan also focuses on strengthening the civic engagement of Iliganon youth encouraging active participation and meaningful action for positive change in the city.
