San Miguel Arnis Rising Swords (SMARS) is a community-based youth organization in the Municipality of San Miguel, Catanduanes, dedicated to the development of young residents aged 30 and below through the Filipino martial art of Arnis. The organization envisions creating a highly skilled and competitive youth sector capable of representing the municipality in national-level sports competitions. By connecting young people with opportunities to transform their lives through sports, SMARS serves as a platform for holistic growth and athletic excellence. The primary objectives of the organization are to foster the development of positive values and strong character among its members while cultivating essential leadership skills and abilities. Furthermore, SMARS is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical well-being through regular training and active participation in tournament affairs and development programs. Through these initiatives, the organization aims to empower its members to become disciplined, capable leaders and top-tier athletes within the sporting community.
