The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) is a school-based environmental organization in the Philippines that empowers students to become active advocates of environmental protection, conservation, and sustainability. It serves as a platform for young people to participate in meaningful initiatives that address pressing environmental concerns such as climate change, waste management, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Through collaborative activities and community engagement, YES-O fosters a sense of responsibility and leadership among students in promoting a greener and more sustainable future. YES-O implements various programs and projects including tree-growing and tree-nurturing activities, coastal and campus clean-up drives, recycling and waste segregation campaigns, energy and water conservation initiatives, and environmental awareness seminars. These activities not only enhance students’ knowledge of environmental issues but also encourage them to practice sustainable habits in their daily lives. The organization also partners with local government units, non-government organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen environmental advocacy efforts.
