First, it promotes volleyball as an accessible, no-cost sport to encourage widespread participation, drawing in shy newcomers alongside school team standouts to create a diverse player base. Second, the association develops raw athletic talents through structured skill-building, from serving and passing fundamentals to advanced spiking and team strategies, preparing members for provincial meets, school varsity squads, and even national youth pathways. Third, MVA instills essential life values such as respect, perseverance, fair play, and discipline, using volleyball as a platform to teach conflict resolution, leadership, and resilience—qualities that extend far beyond the court into daily life and future endeavors. Fourth, it strengthens community ties by partnering with local schools like Motiong NHS and Motiong Central Elementary School, involving parents, teachers, and barangay officials in events to celebrate youth achievements and promote active lifestyles.
