Ang Gintuang Butil is the official school publication of Manuel B. Guiñez Sr. National High School. It serves as a platform for student journalists to express ideas, report factual information, and amplify student voices through responsible and ethical campus journalism. The organization is committed to promoting truth, creativity, and critical thinking while fostering awareness of school and community issues. Through writing, illustration, and layout, Ang Gintuang Butil contributes to an informed and engaged school community. The organization aims to develop the journalistic skills of its members in news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, editorial cartooning, science and technology writing, copyreading, and layouting. It encourages ethical reporting, press freedom, and responsible expression among student journalists. Ang Gintuang Butil also seeks to inform the school community about relevant events, issues, and achievements while preparing its members for journalism competitions and other academic activities that enhance their competence and confidence in the field of campus journalism.
